![]() ![]() Reply Helpful of 1 MS Office on High Sierra 10.13. It currently supports High Sierra through March 2023 when it will require macOS Mojave for new installations. While this is actually painful, but considering the fact that this is a pre-release software, Microsoft will be adding support for 10.13 macOS in the coming months or so, for the rest assured. The free LibreOffice Suite (Office clone) is another option though it will have a steep learning curve, has ample PDF documentation, and is mostly compatible with MS Office documents. Since, all applications in the Office for Mac 2011 suite are reaching end of support on October 10th, 2017, Microsoft will not be spending time to test Word, Excel or PowerPoint etc., on macOS 10.13 and no formal support will be provided. For example, users will see the following error message when attempting to launch Outlook 2016 ver. In some cases, you may not be able to launch the Office apps. These versions are not supported on 10.13. For Outlook, choose Contact Support from the Help menu. In Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, you can click on the Send a Smile icon in the top-right of the app. If you encounter issues using Office 2016 for Mac on High Sierra, please send us feedback so we can address them. For the best experience, we recommend you update Office to version 15.38 or later. Office 2016 for Mac is fully supported on High Sierra. We strongly recommend that you back up your existing data before trying the software. As of September 25, 2017, macOS 10.13 High Sierra is publically available for all Mac users to install.
